Recruiters check GitHub. If your profile is full of 'Test1', 'Hello-World', and empty repositories, it looks unprofessional.
1. Pin Your Best Work
You can pin up to 6 repositories. Choose your best projects. Don't pin forked repositories unless you contributed significantly to them.
2. The README Rule
Every pinned repo MUST have a README.md. It should answer: What does this app do? How do I run it? (Screenshots are mandatory). If I can't understand your project in 10 seconds, I'm closing the tab.
3. Hide the Junk
Make your learning experiments private. Keep your public profile curated and professional.
